This small powder room has a lot to say in very little space. In keeping with the bold modern aesthetic of the home, the emphasis is on clean lines augmented by interesting textures and a sophisticated application of color. Dramatically tall ceilings create a bold first impression and establish the linear outlines of the room, while a floor to ceiling back splash is free of any distracting seams. Geometric tile mosaic undulates in a captivating grid pattern. A custom-designed sink, with organic lines carved from an earth friendly cast stone, floats out from the tile.

An ultra modern vanity sconce is strategically placed to cast a soft glow across the space. The unusual placement of the lighting at the left of the sink enhances the room's simplicity by allowing the tiled wall to be adorned with only a built-in, custom height mirror.

With no need for cabinetry, the powder room is absent any noticeable storage so that the minimalist character of the home is captured completely in this small but remarkable space.

The dark-toned sink and sand-colored wall tiles are complimented by charcoal gray paint coating the accent wall. Natural stone across the floor introduces soft grays and whites to the color palette to balance the scale of the ten foot walls. Further enhancing the sophisticated theme, a row of linear art niches glisten under puck lights with vibrant red glass tiles that illuminate hints of gold, black, and white.
