During the San Diego wildfires in October 2007, KFMB-TV (CBS 8) news anchor Larry Himmel and his family sadly lost their home to the fires. Words cannot adequately express how difficult this circumstance was for Larry, his wife Joan and their 15 year old son, Miles. But, Larry showed his positive outlook when he said on his newscast one day, “It’s only wood. I will rebuild it!”

Larry trusted Jackson Design and Remodeling to help plan, design and rebuild his entire home. We feel fortunate to work with the Himmel family on this important, very personal project.

Jackson Design and Remodeling dedicates this page to all the people who lost their homes in the October 2007 wildfires.
