Client Relations Manager
As Client Relations Manager, Stina is a vital resource for Jackson Design and Remodeling clients. With a zeal for client care, attention to detail and reliable efficiency, Stina clearly communicates with clients what they can realistically expect as they embark upon a remodeling project and then guides them through the process from start to finish. Stina develops and implements new systems and organizes information in an accessible, appealing way to ensure that clients receive consistently excellent care. Many clients first meet Stina in person at one of the JDR Design and Remodeling Seminars she is responsible for coordinating. She also handles a variety of essential communication and organizational tasks for clients and the JDR team.
Stina was born and raised in Connecticut, where her family bought a historical home, built in 1908, that became a beloved renovation project for the whole family. After studying Political Science and Sociology at the University of Connecticut, Stina moved to New York and then on to San Diego to earn her MBA at the University of San Diego. Stina has always been interested in the way things work and enjoys learning about the technical aspects of remodeling. Client Relations Specialist
As the first point of contact for most Jackson Design and Remodeling clients, Anita embraces the opportunity to answer inquiries, ask questions and share information with an engaging, efficient, and effective approach. Anita has always loved design and was educated in her home state of North Carolina, where she received an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design. While practicing design Anita continually found herself drawn to the business side of remodeling and decided to refocus her career.
As a Client Relations Specialist, Anita encompasses the visual understanding of a designer and a strong familiarity with the practical details of the remodeling process from start to finish. She delights in the process of helping clients transform their dreams for their homes into reality. Service has been a driving force in Anita's life, both professionally and personally. Professionally, Anita is committed to exceptional client service and building relationships that last a lifetime. Personally, Anita is a devoted community volunteer and church ministry member. Production Support to CEO
As Production Support to CEO Todd Jackson, Gabrielle ("Gabbi") plays a vital role in building lasting relationships with Jackson Design and Remodeling clients. A U.S. Navy veteran with an impressive background in service and construction, Gabbi supports the CEO as he meets with clients, develops estimates, and prepares scopes of work. She organizes the CEO's challenging schedule, handles time sensitive communication points, and coordinates multiple deadlines. Gabbi is a master organizer and an expert in time management and efficiency. Originally from Utah, Gabbi has been interested in the construction business since childhood when she was inspired by her uncle's work as a general contractor. When she joined the U.S. Navy after high school, she was assigned to the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion where she managed major construction projects and strengthened her skills in all aspects of the industry from planning to execution. After her military service, Gabbi earned a Bachelor's in Business Management from San Diego State University and worked as an independent project manager and contractor. When she's not on the job, Gabbi expresses her hands-on creative side with a variety of personal building projects and explores the outdoors with her wife and their pair of beloved German Shepherds.

Jim combines his strong command of architecture with a depth of knowledge gathered over years in the remodeling industry to skillfully guide clients through the initial phases of a project with Jackson Design and Remodeling. Jim meets one-on-one with clients to introduce the Jackson Design and Remodeling team and the company's comprehensive design build services, helping clients visualize how JDR works to transform their homes. He leads clients to a clear understanding of the remodeling process, helps them articulate their needs and desires for a new space, and works with clients and the design team to coordinate a project's initial design phase.
Jim is a native of Phoenix, AZ, where he owned an architectural firm for five years before moving to San Diego in 1989. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. Before joining Jackson Design and Remodeling, Jim worked for nineteen years at another large remodeling firm, where he practiced his skills as an In-house Architect and worked for ten years as General Manager. He was drawn to the innovative design principles and customer service responsiveness at JDR. Jim is a member of the San Diego Rotary Club 33 and has been published locally as an architect.
Previous to joining Jackson Design and Remodeling as a Residential Designer, John has worked for more than 30 years in the design field with various architectural firms. He was self-employed for several years, operating his own design firm, which specialized in high-end residential projects. John holds a BArch from Cal Polytechnic University Pomona, where he majored in the School of Environmental Design. His extensive experience includes design and space planning, project management, construction document preparation, sub contractor coordination, and plan permitting. His technical skills and wide ranging experience in the residential design field help to ensure a smooth process and memorable experience for JDR's clients.
During a career in the remodeling industry that spans over 25 years, Arnold has gained extensive experience in all aspects of architectural design. Arnold has contributed his skills to both residential and commercial buildings and is well versed in the California Building Code. His impressive background includes design, construction documents, administration, project management, and team leadership. As a Residential Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Arnold brings seasoned skills, a strong work ethic and keen technical capabilities to every project, helping to ensure a successful outcome and stress-free process for our clients. Arnold is a volunteer and board member for the Del Mar Little League. He earned an Associates Degree in Architecture from Southwestern & Mesa Community College.
Jerry brings extensive experience in the architectural industry, along with 13 years in project management positions, to his role as Residential Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling. Jerry helps to ensure a stress-free remodeling experience for our clients by applying his seasoned skills and strong understanding of architecture and construction to every project. Prior to joining Jackson Design and Remodeling, Jerry built his career with architectural firms handling both residential and commercial work. He balances significant experience with large-scale projects with dedicated attention to detail. Originally from Mexico, Jerry moved to Temecula as a child. His creative side was initially drawn to graphic design but he chose architecture because of the satisfaction of translating people's ideas into a tangible and useful form. Jerry is an avid gardener and relaxes on weekends by tending his flourishing vegetable garden and fruit trees.
David was born into a family with an impressive history of master carpenters and craftsmen, including his great-great grandfather who brought his family to San Diego for the development of Balboa Park and other historic sites in San Diego. David enthusiastically joined the trade himself starting with framing and remodeling homes before following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps by pursuing residential design. As a Residential Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, David contributes 12 years of hands-on experience in construction and architectural plan development to help clients see their dreams come to life. David is adept at using Revit, an architectural software, to produce designs, construction documents, and 3D visualizations for clients. David is excited to be on a team that fully embraces and maximizes this technology, which is relatively new to residential remodeling. When he's not at work, David spends time with family, enjoys playing soccer and is a loyal Chargers fan.
Denisse brings a wealth of experience and singular skills to her position as Residential Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling. She was drawn to design and architecture from an early age and completed an architecture internship in her last year of high school. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she was educated in traditional methods of hand drafting and hand-cut modeling, along with the latest innovative techniques. JDR's unified team approach is appealing to Denisse, who enjoys being inspired by the collaborative creative process with colleagues and clients. Originally from Peru, Denisse first moved to Washington, D.C. before migrating to San Diego where she says the weather and environment make her feel like she is always on vacation. She is an enthusiastic explorer of California architecture, San Diego city attractions, the beach and surrounding hiking trails. Denisse is also a committed community volunteer who has dedicated time to homeless shelters and civic activities.
An accomplished design professional and REVIT expert with an emphasis on defining spatial experience through multiple techniques, Stephanie brings a unique depth of technical understanding to her position as a Residential Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling. Architecture and interior design are a lifelong passion for Stephanie. She earned a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego. Dedicated, precise, and meticulous, Stephanie helps assure a satisfying and stress-free experience for Jackson Design and Remodeling clients with her impressive combination of technical and communication skills. She is committed to thoroughly understanding and then translating our clients' needs and desires for their spaces. When she's not at work, Stephanie enjoys long nature walks, city museum trips, and painting at home.

Tatiana Machado-Rosas is Jackson Design and Remodeling's Design Department Manager and Senior Designer. Tatiana has excelled in her field for more than two decades and her leadership of the Jackson Design and Remodeling design team has inspired multiple award-winning projects. Originally from Mexico City, Tatiana has traveled throughout the world, gaining inspiration from many cultures before making San Diego her home 20 years ago. She graduated from the Design Institute of San Diego with a BFA in Interior Design. She earned her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) accreditation through the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association.) Tatiana is an active member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and her projects have been displayed in the ASID Kitchen Tour since 2002.
In 2016, Tatiana won the highly competitive Kitchen + Dining category in HGTV's "Fresh Faces of Design" competition after five weeks of public voting at hgtv.com, and over 57.8 million page views. Tatiana's projects have been recognized by ASID (Design Excellence Awards), NKBA (NKBA Star Awards), NARI (CotY Awards), Qualified Remodeler (Master Design Awards) and the Chrysalis Awards. Her designs have been published numerous times in such online and print publications as HGTV.com, Better Homes and Gardens, San Diego Magazine, Qualified Remodeler, San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles, Kitchens, Ranch & Coast, Kitchen & Bath Design News, Modern Luxury, and The San Diego Union Tribune. One of her kitchen designs was recently named Best Kitchen by the readers of Architectural Digest in their 2013 Before + After: Reader Kitchens contest. In 2009, Tatiana was honored with a Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) award from the YWCA. In 2010, Tatiana was named to San Diego Metropolitan Magazine's "40 Under 40," an annual list of the 40 individuals under the age of 40 whose outstanding business and civic contributions are shaping the region's future. A prestigious newspaper in Mexico has featured weekly articles on design trends with Tatiana's collaboration.
Tatiana's creative inspiration, innovative skills and intuitive understanding of client needs is demonstrated in the diverse solutions she creates, always uniquely suited to each individual client. Her passion for beautiful design is evident in the style and functionality she infuses into each project she undertakes. Tatiana's effective management of the design department ensures smooth communication and implementation while the design and production departments work together to make each project a success. Her distinct talent, attention to client satisfaction and remarkable project outcomes are all part of her substantial contribution to JDR.

Sol, Senior Designer for the Jackson Design and Remodeling design team, is a multiple-award winning professional with more than thirteen years of experience as an Architectural Designer. Sol applies her considerable skills from the studio and the field to transform her clients' visions into stunning reality. Sol was born and raised in Argentina where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. She was involved in the design of various projects in Buenos Aries before moving to Southern California where she now practices her passion for artistic, impressive home design.

A recognized design innovator, Sol has received numerous awards for her work including ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Awards, Chrysalis Awards, NARI (National Association of Remodeling Industry) CotY (Contractor of the Year) Awards, NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) Awards, and Qualified Remodeler Master Design Awards. Sol won the 2014 NKBA National Award for Best Overall Bath and Best Powder Room and was honored with two Kitchen of the Year awards: 2010 Kitchen of the Year - San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles (featured on the cover) and 2012 Kitchen of the Year - Ranch & Coast Magazine. Sol was also the winner of the Caesarstone 2009 Dream Design contest.
Sol is inspired by the myriad cultures she has experienced during her travels in South America, North America and Europe. She takes the utmost care to incorporate each individual client's personal hopes, dreams, aspirations, and requirements into her unique design solutions and complimentary style suggestions. Clients are inspired when working with Sol because of her intuitive nature, creativity and responsiveness. Sol's experience and talent make her an incredible asset to the Jackson Design and Remodeling team. She continues to astound and delight clients all while being a mother of two lively and energetic little girls, ages 3 and 5.

As a Senior Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Rebecca contributes the talent and experience of a consummate professional with an exceptional record of award-winning designs and professional industry leadership. Rebecca is motivated by an innate love of design and the lasting satisfaction of helping clients live in the dream homes they have always imagined. Her dedication to her work helps her to build enduring relationships of mutual trust with clients and colleagues. A San Diego native, Rebecca was educated at the Design Institute of San Diego. She earned her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and CBD (Certified Bath Designer) accreditations through the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association.) She is an allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and she is a Certified Interior Designer per the state of California. Rebecca is eligible for the CMKBD title (Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer) from the National Kitchen and Bath Association in 2018.
During the course of Rebecca's impressive career, her work has been featured in San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles, San Diego Magazine and several other regional and national publications. Her designs have won multiple awards from San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Rebecca is a dedicated professional who has committed her leadership talents to industry involvement. She is a Past President of the San Diego Chapter of the NKBA, has served on their board and in several Vice President positions since 2005, and was inaugurated into the NKBA Ambassadors Club in 2010. Rebecca has been honored to serve as a judge for prestigious awards competitions, including the National NKBA Awards in 2008, the NKBA San Diego Star Design Awards, and San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles.
Rebecca is inspired by the challenges of a new space and the opportunity to create a distinct and memorable design solution with every project, inspired by the architecture of the home and the needs and desires of each client. During time away from work, Rebecca is very family-oriented and loves to spend time with her two grown sons. She is committed to community involvement and contributes time to local and national charitable causes. Rebecca's vision, leadership, and passion for extraordinary design make her an invaluable asset to the Jackson Design and Remodeling Design Team and our clients.
Senior Interior Designer
Rosella, a Senior Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, is a talented, award-winning professional with a strong architectural background. She has built her impressive career during more than 12 years of experience in interior design and is responsible for multiple projects that have received regional and national recognition. Rosella is a native of Mexico where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and launched her career with an internship in an architectural design firm. In addition to her Bachelor's degree, Rosella earned a Master of Science in Architecture from The NewSchool of Architecture & Design. Since Rosella moved to San Diego in 2005, she has worked with clients on projects ranging from bathrooms and kitchens to whole home remodels. Her projects have been honored by ASID (Design Excellence Awards), NARI (CotY Awards), Qualified Remodeler Magazine (Master Design Awards), and the Chrysalis Awards. Her work has been featured in various publications including The Union Tribune, San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles, Cottages and Bungalows, and the front cover of Qualified Remodeler. Rosella is an Allied member of the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and an active member of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association).
Rosella believes a space should be a three-dimensional expression of the personality, culture and lifestyle of the user. She thinks of every design as a journey and each project as an exploratory creative partnership with the client. Her special attention to detail and clear communication with clients are among the many strengths she brings to JDR's design team. In addition to being an accomplished professional, Rosella balances her life by having quality time every day with her husband and young children. Family and giving to the community are her two most important values. Rosella goes to an orphanage in Tijuana once a month, she is part of a project called "El Arte alimenta - art nourishes" a non-profit art education program, Its mision is to help the artistic development and creative thinking of foster children and teenagers.

Alison demonstrates outstanding technical, artistic and communication skills as a Senior Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling. Her imaginative and technically impressive work has been recognized with industry awards and spotlighted in publications. Alison attained certification from the National Kitchen and Bath Association as an Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) and is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego. Alison was inspired to pursue a career in design from a young age when her family moved into a new house that required a whole home design and she discovered how much she enjoyed creating from a blank slate. Her essential helping nature is expressed in her church group, which assists people in need by sprucing up their homes with love and care. Alison is highly proficient with social media and technology and applies those skills in her client relationships as a way to gather diverse information and share inspiration. Alison's enthusiasm for helping clients transform their homes to better suit their lifestyles and aspirations and her emphasis on clear communication make her an invaluable resource.
Senior Interior Designer
As a Senior Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Jen's exceptionally artistic and imaginative talent is demonstrated in work that has earned industry awards and features in publications. Originally an architecture major in college, Jen discovered interior design during a drafting class, fell in love with space planning, and changed her educational path shortly thereafter. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California San Diego and a Masters in Interior Architecture from UCLA. She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Jen's passion for interior design is driven by the satisfaction of helping to transform people's lifestyles with design. She combines an artistic and analytical approach and is driven to master new concepts, stay current with industry trends and help JDR's clients visualize their dreams for their homes. Clients appreciate Jen's ability to listen closely, communicate responsively and intuitively encapsulate their needs and desires. During her rare free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her family and frequently participates in JDR events giving back to the community.
Cabinetry Design Manager, AKBD
A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Caroline was new to San Diego when she joined the JDR team as a Cabinetry Design Manager. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a BA in Psychology. Her father owned a building supply company and from an early age Caroline was surrounded by construction and fascinated by drawing floor plans and "dream homes." Caroline co-owned a kitchen and bath design firm in North Carolina, where she attained hands-on experience in kitchen and bath design. As part of JDR's Design Department, Caroline creates cabinetry drawings and digital renderings as well as pricing, ordering and installation layouts for our clients.
As an Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Marisela is able to experience her favorite part of design, the joy of making clients happy by transforming their homes. Marisela is a native of San Diego and earned an Interior Design Associates Degree from FIDM in Los Angeles, California. She comes from a family of artists who show their work in exhibitions throughout San Diego. As a child, she experimented with fashion and sewing before migrating to interior design. Shortly after graduating from FIDM, Marisela joined Jackson Design and Remodeling and continued to learn her craft hands-on from the senior design team. She appreciates the creativity of designing layouts and seeing a project through from conception to completion in a design build remodeling environment. Marisela is an excellent communicator who is dedicated to building rapport and trust with clients. She goes to any lengths to make sure clients are completely satisfied with every aspect of their projects. During her time away from the design studio, Marisela enjoys socializing with family and friends.
As an Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Jennifer practices in-depth communication with clients and translates their lifestyle needs and desires into innovative design concepts for their homes. Jennifer was raised in an environment of artistic entrepreneurship with extended family who enjoyed drawing and painting and a mother who owned a creative business. She knew from the time she was very young that she wanted to make a living in the arts. Having the family home remodeled during her childhood sparked a strong interest in Interior Design. After graduating from San Diego State with a BA in Applied Arts and Sciences with an Emphasis in Interior Design, Jennifer strengthened her business and design skills in a series of internships and positions in the creative field before joining JDR. Born, raised and educated in San Diego, Jennifer loves her hometown and still enjoys playing tourist here during her leisure time with a close circle of friends and family.
Brittany combines exceptional artistic and communication skills to inspire clients as an Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from San Diego State University. Brittany is dedicated to the design process from start to finish, enthusiastically applying her artistic and technical skills along with diligence and creative intuition. Brittany enjoys the collaboration of design and communicating with clients to achieve the best possible result for each project. She is an adventurous hiker and amateur photographer and enjoys exploring nature with her camera on long hikes during her free time.
Priscilla was educated at the Art Institute of California San Diego where she received a Bachelor of Science, Interior Design. She pursued creative arts and activities from the time she was a young child and explored various disciplines including visual arts, performing arts, and set design. After graduation, she explored roles in video editing, set design and the visual arts, all of which further developed her broad creativity and strengthened her eye for interior design. As an Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Priscilla appreciates the unique opportunity to make a very personal difference in the lives of clients with thoughtful interior design. Priscilla is a San Diego native and an avid reader of every genre from biographies to science fiction.
An Interior Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Hana brings a lifelong passion for design and architecture to each project she completes for a client. Hana has lived in several countries and states, including Georgia, where she earned her BFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Hana was exposed to architecture and design from an early age as her family travelled throughout the world. She delights in the fast pace of the Jackson Design and Remodeling Design Department and appreciates working closely with clients to help them achieve their vision for their homes. She is dedicated to transforming client's existing homes into functional, beautiful living environments. When she's not at work, Hana winds down with reading, yoga, cooking and baking.
Tessa is a San Diego native with a creative family who nurtured her early interest in art and design. She moved to the Bay Area for college and earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Francisco State University. As a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Tessa thrives on the way design requires both a dedicated attention to detail and an ability to see the big picture. She loves being part of the process of a design, from the initial drawings she helps create to the finished home when the clients see how it all works together. She is passionate about being on a team that creates beautiful spaces with integrity. In her spare time, Tessa creates fun purses and accessories from faux leather and other fabrics, a skill passed down from her grandmother who was once a fashion designer.
Catherine has had an appreciation for interior design from a young age. She values smart, thoughtful design coupled with innovative concepts. As a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Cat enthusiastically applies her impressive technical and creative skills to each project she undertakes. She loves being involved in the process of creating the varied pieces of a design that fit together to work in unity. Before earning a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California San Diego, Catherine obtained a BS in Business from San Diego State University. As a San Diego native she enjoys exploring her beautiful hometown and draws design inspiration from its abundant cultural life and natural beauty.
Attracted to the history of art and architecture from an early age, Elisabeth earned an A.A.S. in Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences from SUNY Adirondack and a B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Sage Colleges in New York. As a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Elisabeth is driven by the variety and creativity of the interior design tasks she collaborates on with a team of talented professionals. She contributes exceptional technical and artistic skills to each project, along with a deep knowledge and appreciation for the history and psychology of design. During her spare time, Elisabeth loves to check out Balboa Park, visit local museums, and explore San Diego on long hikes.
Lauren was introduced to design and architecture at an early age when her grandfather, who was a business owner and landscape architect, would bring her along on his jobs. She was fascinated by the homes she saw and inspired by the concept of integrating indoor and outdoor living. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California, San Diego and graduated on the Dean's Honor Roll. She started at JDR as a Cabinetry Design Assistant, strengthening her excellent technical skills. Now a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Lauren's positive attitude, motivation, and desire to learn are essential in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Her persistence and organization are valuable assets as she works on multiple projects. A San Diego native, Lauren loves to spend time with her family, enjoys long hikes, and is always on the lookout for creative projects to pursue.
A Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Ashley showed an early interest in interiors, surprising her mother by constantly rearranging her room or the family kitchen as a child. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at The Art Institute of California, San Diego. She developed strong technical knowledge, along with exceptional skills in hand-rendering interior spaces, landscaping design, and all aspects of the design process. She is particularly drawn to varieties of materials and how they can influence a space and is inspired by journeys to museums, model homes, and other visual environments. As a Design Assistant, Ashley is focused on AutoCAD drawings, material selection, and vendor relationships. During her free time she loves to visit the beach or stay at home and explore one of her many personal creative projects, usually involving imaginative ideas for accessory "upcycling."
Anushka was inspired to pursue a career in Interior Design when she took art classes in college and discovered an innate talent for drawing and painting. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from San Diego State University. As a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Anushka manages multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and uses her strong technical and artistic skills to create tile and countertop drawings and presentation boards. Energized by the supportive and lively atmosphere at JDR, where she can strengthen her skills with expert professional designers, Anushka is dedicated to working together with the Design Team toward the common goal of beautifully transforming clients' homes. She is particularly drawn to the psychological aspects of interior design and the ability to listen to and interpret clients' needs and desires for their homes. Anushka was born in Baku, Azerbaijan and is fluent in Russian. In her free time she likes to bond with family and explore personal creative projects, especially painting portraits.
Erica is a San Diego native from a family of exceptionally creative people, including artists and comedians. While earning her B.A. at UC Davis with the idea of pursuing a career in advertising, Erica visited the architecture and design building and was immediately motivated to change the focus of her studies. She graduated with a Design B.A. and a Minor in Communication. During intensive study abroad in London, Erica gained a strong appreciation for modern and unconventional design. Erica thrives in the fast-paced environment of the Design Team, assisting with multiple projects. She is exhilarated by the collaborative aspect of design, working with the Design Team to discover how to translate client dreams into reality and create beautiful, functional homes that enhance their lifestyles. Sustainability has been a driving force in Erica's life and she is always excited to explore how architecture and remodeling can have an impact on the planet. A Certified Yoga Instructor, Erica is focused on beauty and wellness in many aspects of her life. She loves to experiment with woodcraft during her free time, building large artistic and functional pieces.
Elizabeth is a California native who discovered her aptitude for interior design while exploring green living in Venice Beach. She earned a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and a BA in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Art Studio from California State University Chico with the original intention of becoming an art teacher. Once she became immersed in the field of interior design Elizabeth fell in love with the industry and the creative possibilities of exploring eco-friendly and global design principles. As a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Elizabeth appreciates creating hand renderings, learning about new products for the home, researching the details of finishes and lighting, and experimenting with creativity to inspire Jackson Design and Remodeling clients with fresh, exciting concepts. In her free time, Elizabeth has a freelance pursuit as a family and lifestyle photographer. She enjoys yoga, weightlifting, and beach or road trips with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
Vine was drawn to interior design from an early age and inspired by the desert colors of her native New Mexico. A US Navy veteran, Vine worked in the biotech and healthcare fields for several years before pursuing her passion for interior design at Mesa College. As a Design Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Vine loves the sense of completion interior design instills when she works on a project from start to finish and sees a client deeply satisfied by the results. She is particularly skilled in the technical aspects of design, with both hand drafting and software skills in her toolkit, along with specialty knowledge gained as a cabinetry design assistant in her previous position with JDR. With two children in college and a husband who travels frequently for work, Vine still has a full house at home with two big dogs and three cats. She enjoys spending quiet time reading for pleasure and studying for her ongoing education.
As a Presentation Manager for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Karina leads the creative output of a busy department that is central to the design process.She balances a keen understanding of design with a sense of urgency to complete multiple projects with competing deadlines. Karina's staff is responsible for helping clients envision their space at the beginning of the design process with material selections, drawings and renderings that help them make a personal connection to their future home. When the design is finished, Karina steps in again with guidance about accessories and finishing touches.She also leads her department in styling photo shoots of finished projects and designing company events. Born in Poland, Karina called Europe home for many years and her design aesthetic is influenced by that experience as well as her fashion design background. She earned an Associate Degree in Interior Design from San Diego Mesa College. She is an avid runner and has participated in many local charity races. Karina is also a passionate cook and a dedicated mom who enthusiastically skateboards and hikes with her young son.
Elizabeth has demonstrated her lifelong love for interior design ever since she was a young girl who would constantly redo the theme and layout of her room at home in her native state of Texas. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she was secretary of the school's American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) chapter. As a Presentation Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Elizabeth is excited to build her already impressive drawing skills by creating detailed project renderings that help clients imagine their new spaces. Her ability to work on multiple deadlines with detail-oriented efficiency and a positive team approach are essential to the demands of the fast-paced design department. Elizabeth loves how interior design combines the creativity of artistic expression with the technical aspects of developing functional spaces. She thrives as a member of a talented team of designers, where she can contribute her skills and dedication to the common goal of inspiring clients. A Texan who recently moved with her military husband and young baby to San Diego, Elizabeth is excited to explore the outdoor lifestyle with her family.

An Air Force veteran of the Gulf War era, Brent brings considerable leadership and strategic skills to the Jackson Design and Remodeling team. After his eight years of military service, Brent earned a degree in Management, graduating with honors. Brent brings these skills, along with more than a decade of experience in the construction industry, to his position as Production Manager. During his years in construction, Brent has continually acquired greater responsibility in each successive position, developing his expertise in management, technical and communication skills, as well as hands-on production work. As Production Manager, Brent heads the Production Department and oversees JDR's team of project managers and field staff. He is responsible for developing, implementing, and refining the Production Department policies, procedures and systems that make each JDR project a successful experience for our clients. In keeping with the company's commitment to 'Build Clients for Life', Brent also manages JDR's Premium Client Care Warranty process. Brent is dedicated to assuring that each client's expectations are exceeded. Working with a unified team of architects, designers, and construction professionals, Brent appreciates being an integral part of transforming client's homes. A committed family man, Brent enjoys time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Senior Production Coordinator/Lead IT Support
As Jackson Design and Remodeling's Production Coordinator and Lead IT Support, Jennifer capably handles two roles that together are essential to the efficient and reliable systems Jackson Design and Remodeling clients rely on. She applies her efficient administrative abilities, excellent organizational skills and extensive technical knowledge to help assure that all JDR clients receive accurate and timely project estimates. Using JDR's carefully designed cost estimating system, Jennifer helps to access the best values, determine exact costs and avoid any surprises for clients during the design build process. Jennifer acts as a liaison with JDR and our subcontractors, sustaining the positive ethical relationships that make each project run smoothly. She is the resident expert in JDR's proprietary custom designed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. She works closely with the system programmer to continually enhance the ERP and then communicates updates to JDR staff, assuring that clients are always receiving the highest quality, most up-to-date technology and service. She also procures the technical equipment needed for each member of the JDR team and handles installation, training, and support. Originally from Southern California, Jennifer was educated at Victor Valley College where she earned Associate Degrees in Math and Science and in Liberal Arts. She brings a high level of enthusiasm for design build remodeling, along with an ability to intelligently prioritize multiple deadlines, to her position as Senior Production Coordinator/Lead IT Support. In her free time, Jennifer bakes elaborate and delicious cakes and cupcakes. She and her husband are devoted to their Golden Retriever, Sheldon, and love to bring him to the beach and dog parks.
With a detail-oriented approach combined with strong organizational and people skills, Agata assists the Production Department in assuring a positive experience for Jackson Design and Remodeling clients. As a Production Coordinator for JDR, Agata is in close communication with subcontractors, helping to provide comprehensive and accurate estimates to clients and keeping everyone on the team aligned with timely, reliable information. Her excellent technical skills are engaged with JDR's ERP system, which tracks the progress and details of every project. Agata began her career in the administrative and accounting fields after receiving an AA in Business Administration and found that many of the skills she garnered during her career were transferable to the construction production field. She loves learning new skills and being part of a growing team and company. Agata was born in Poland and her family immigrated to the United States in the 1980s. She still speaks Polish fluently, is involved with her local Polish community, loves to cook food from her homeland, and is dedicated to learning more about her Polish culture. Her spare time is dedicated to family activities with her young son.

With over thirty years of experience in construction, Joe has a working knowledge of every aspect of the remodeling industry. As a Project Manager for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Joe oversees subcontractors and employees on the jobsite, reads and interprets blueprints, meets with inspectors and ensures code compliance, while working both in the field and in the office. Having owned a construction business in the past, Joe understands the importance of building excellent relationships with each JDR client. This knowledge underscores all of his client interactions.
Mike started working in the construction industry as a teenager and found a lifelong occupation. Beginning as a layout/plater and framer for a construction company specializing in new home developments, he soon worked his way up to Project Management. Mikes' extensive experience is invaluable in both the field and the office. He reads and interprets blueprints, meets with inspectors and ensures code compliance, with a continual focus on customer satisfaction. Overseeing multiple job sites, Mike ensures that each project exceeds client expectations.
In his position as Project Manager for JDR, Don uses the experience and knowledge he has gained during over 23 years in the remodeling industry. With the goal of creating an exceptional client experience for each project, Don ensures code compliance, manages employees and subcontractors, and assures the timely completion of all the details involved in a successful remodel. After a lifetime spent in the industry, Don understands the importance of exceeding client expectations and is dedicated to making that happen on each project.
After almost two decades in the construction industry, Jesse brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Jackson Design and Remodeling jobsite. He has hands-on experience in all phases of construction and is well-informed about the latest materials and methods. Jesse has worked on many high end residential design and build projects, supervising staff, managing deadlines and budgets, and communicating with clients and vendors. Jesse's communication skills, along with his dedication to meeting deadlines while maintaining the highest quality work are valuable assets in the work environment. Jesse oversees multiple projects and ensures Jackson Design and Remodeling clients each have an exceptional, stress-free remodeling experience.
Randy plays an essential role as a Project Manager for Jackson Design and Remodeling, helping to assure that all clients receive exceptional work and service on their projects from start to finish. He ensures code compliance, manages employees and subcontractors, and coordinates all of the details involved in a successful remodel. After years of experience in the field with clients and subcontractors, Randy contributes excellent hands-on technical skills and a deep understanding of the importance of communication and accountability to every project.
Christopher contributes exceptional skills and knowledge to the position of Project Manager for Jackson Design and Remodeling. For more than 25 years, he has built a career in the construction industry, including work as a licensed contractor, a foreman, an ICC building inspector, and as an expert witness in construction litigation. For several years he restored historical homes in the Shaker Heights neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio and had a family construction business where he honed his skills in all the trades. This broad background allows Christopher to share a unique perspective with JDR clients who appreciate gaining a deeper understanding of the structural issues involved in a major remodel. He appreciates JDR's strong attention to processes and details and the team's dedicated commitment to ensuring the best results for every client on every project.
Dan discovered construction right out of high school and found the work a natural fit for his hands-on skills. After gaining knowledge and experience working with others he ran his own construction company for many years before joining Jackson Design and Remodeling. As a Project Manager, Dan applies his considerable abilities in time management, scheduling and problem-solving to make sure each project runs smoothly. Dan is energized by Jackson Design and Remodeling's team environment and the company's collective commitment to exceeding client expectations. He is dedicated to eliminating roadblocks and finding the path to successful completion and happy clients for each project.

Construction is a lifelong profession for Cory, who grew up watching his father build highrises in Florida. Cory followed in his father's footsteps, studied building management in college, and learned every aspect of construction while building custom homes in New York. As an Assistant Project Manager for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Cory is responsible for essential production aspects of each project and accountable for delivering the highest quality work. Cory appreciates the ability to see each project through from start to finish, ensuring exceptional results for each JDR client.
Assistant Project Manager
Pete has worked in the construction industry for more than 25 years, strengthening his skills in a variety of trades. As an Assistant Project Manager for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Pete applies his extensive knowledge and experience to finding smart solutions while ensuring the best quality work on each project. Pete is energized by his role on JDR's unified team, working together to assure that Jackson Design and Remodeling clients are completely satisfied with each project.
Mark has an extensive range of estimating and procurement experience, including commercial, custom home building and remodeling. As an Estimator/Buyer, Mark is the main liaison between Jackson Design and Remodeling and our subcontractors, vendors and suppliers. He reviews each project plan and submits plans, scopes and specifications to subcontractors and vendors for preliminary proposals. Mark then negotiates the best prices and delivery dates to ensure a positive experience for all clients. He ensures timely delivery of all special orders and materials to each job site and anticipates materials needs as each job progresses. Mark analyzes and organizes the costs for each project, from the smallest details to the most significant expenses, so that each client knows how much a project will cost before the project begins.

Tara is the Financial Controller for Jackson Design and Remodeling, responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the Accounting Department, which provides strategic financial advice on business growth, produces accurate and timely financial statements, including financial analysis, and establishes policies and procedures. She first learned about JDR as a potential client when CEO Todd Jackson came to her home to make a presentation. She was so impressed by the honesty, enthusiasm and professionalism of the JDR team that she was eager to join the company in a vital new role. As Financial Controller, Tara's strategic thinking, organizational and leadership skills are essential as she builds an accounting department that supports a thriving company where new ideas are continuously developed. Her accounting team is essential to JDR's commitment to ethical and responsive business practices.
Tara is a CPA who earned her M.B.A from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach. During a career in which she progressively earned more responsibility and gained deeper financial and business acumen, Tara worked in a variety of industries including aging services, healthcare, and public accounting before joining JDR. Originally from Las Vegas, Tara now lives close to the ocean with her husband and their dog and they love to explore the San Diego outdoors together.
Lead Accountant and IT support
As Lead Accountant and IT Support for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Maria dedicates her exceptional organizational skills to accounts receivable and payroll systems, processes, and tasks. She manages the ongoing development of JDR's proprietary customized ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and is the team's capable resource for technical support and administration. Her dedication to both strategy and details makes Maria a valuable asset to the Jackson Design and Remodeling team. Maria earned her BS from the School of Management at Boston College and has over 15 years of accounting experience in the building industry. She was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Boston, where she became an avid Red Sox fan.
As a Staff Accountant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Andrea practices her high level organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. She is energized by the thriving Jackson Design and Remodeling team and enjoys working in a challenging department with multiple responsibilities, including accounts payable, vendor relationship management, and other accounting tasks. Originally a Communications major in college, Andrea responds enthusiastically to JDR's detailed, well-organized processes with carefully designed communication points. Away from the office, Andrea loves a good Sunday brunch and enjoying the beautiful sunshine of San Diego with her adorable dog, Meera, on long beach walks and hikes.
Amanda, an Accounting Assistant for Jackson Design and Remodeling, has always excelled at math. She is drawn to the guidelines and principles inherent in math concepts and the satisfaction of carefully tracking details to find accurate results. As an Accounting Assistant, Amanda is responsible for accounts payable and establishing and maintaining vendor relationships. She communicates JDR's processes and procedures to new vendors, reviews vendor statements, analyzes job costs, oversees and maintains all budgets, and much more. Amanda's strong work ethic, team spirit, and meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable asset to the Accounting Department. Originally from Tennessee, Amanda has lived in San Diego for fifteen years and enjoys exploring all the outdoor activities the area has to offer, from fishing and camping to beach days and surfing.
Emily, Jackson Design and Remodeling's Administrative Assistant and Receptionist, is often the first to greet clients when they visit JDR. Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Chico and has always been drawn to a career where she could work directly with people in a team-oriented environment. Along with a keen focus on exceptional client service and her enthusiasm for cultivating positive working relationships, Emily brings a high level of organizational skill to this essential position. She is a capable liaison for JDR departments and outside agencies, confirms client appointments, helps to prepare client communications and monthly seminars, and handles a variety of special projects with a winning combination of grace and tenacity. When she's not at work, Emily enjoys hiking, road trips and spending time with friends.
Design build remodeling is a family business for Danica, who grew up watching her father (Todd Jackson) build a multi-million dollar company. She started working at Jackson Design and Remodeling while she was in high school, becoming familiar with all the departments, developing new skills, and being helpful however she was needed. As an Operations Assistant, Danica's critical thinking, communication, and time management skills are indispensable as she handles a variety of essential responsibilities from greeting clients and answering phones, to assisting with payroll in the accounting department, helping prepare for seminars, and other administrative tasks. When she's not at work, Danica loves to spend time with her close-knit family, play with their dog, "Riley," and visit the beach. Danica is working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at California State University, San Marcos.
Human Resources Administrator
As a Human Resources Administrator for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Patty is responsible for fostering relationships, development and growth with JDR's most important asset – a unified team of dedicated people who are experts in their fields. A San Diego native, Patty was originally drawn to Human Resources through her interest in employment law. She has always been fascinated by the role a mediator plays with a company and its employees. Patty earned her Bachelors of Science, Business Administration with a minor in Spanish at San Diego State University and a Human Resources Certificate from Chapman University. Before joining JDR she built an impressive career, practicing her skills in progressively significant roles with San Diego companies and strengthening her analytical, innovative approach.
As JDR's Human Resources Administrator, Patty's primary responsibilities include the development and standardization of Human Resources systems and processes, along with recruitment strategies for JDR's fast-growing team. She also acts as a resource, advocate and cheerleader for employees and the company as a whole. In her spare time, Patty is a voracious reader and is devoted to her two adorable Boston Terriers, Aloha and Molokai. As their names suggest, Patty loves Hawaii and travels there whenever she can, sometimes even fitting in a boogie board session.
Jackson Design and Remodeling's Marketing Director, CoCo is the guardian of the company's brand. She drives JDR's vision by leading and overseeing the development of an imaginative, integrated marketing approach. CoCo conducts research, assesses data analysis and develops comprehensive marketing strategies that support the company's long-term goals. A graduate of Longwood University in Virginia, CoCo has worked in the San Diego, Washington, D.C., Richmond and Atlanta markets during her impressive career. She supports ongoing innovation in the remodeling industry through her involvement in the U.S. Green Building Council and the San Diego Center for Sustainability. CoCo also contributes her skills and energy to the community, volunteering with organizations such as the San Diego Film Festival and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Accomplished at handling multiple deadlines and delivering results under pressure, Caitlin is a trusted resource with strong organizational and communication skills. As Jackson Design and Remodeling's Marketing Assistant, she is a right hand to the Marketing Director, performing as a capable and dependable administrative resource in a fast-paced, creative department with multiple competing deadlines. Caitlin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Minor in General Business Administration from the University of Arizona, Tucson. Her education, combined with a natural affinity for responsive communication, are essential tools as Caitlin manages special projects, research, analytics, and a variety of administrative marketing responsibilities. In her spare time she enjoys exploring her creative side with cooking, entertaining and writing projects, including a blog she is working on with her sister that covers all three. She's an avid reader and history buff who also loves to explore the beach and hiking trails in San Diego.

Before joining JDR, Jennifer gained eight years of experience as a marketing communications specialist, a graphic design department assistant, and a freelance graphic designer. Jennifer earned an Associates of Arts in Transfer Studies from San Diego Mesa College and an Associates of Science in Computer Graphic Design from Coleman University. Jennifer enjoys a happy family life with her husband, a United States Marine, and their 2 year old daughter and baby son.
