Jackson Design and Remodeling Wins National Chrysalis Award and Four San Diego Contractor of the Year Awards

(April 27, 2009) Judged by editors and writers of Better Homes & Gardens, Woman’s Day, Southern Living and Houseplans.com, the 2009 national Chrysalis award winners were selected from over 526 entries. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure. JDR received a national award in the category of “Best Kitchens $50-$75k.”

“To win an award in this highly competitive category is quite an achievement,” says Ken Kanline, director of the Chrysalis Awards.

The San Diego Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards are given each year by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) headquarters to remodeling contractors in San Diego who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. JDR received CoTY awards in four categories, including: Residential Bathroom Under $30,000, Residential Bathroom Over $60,000, Residential Kitchen $30,000 - $60,000 and Residential Historical Renovation.
