Jackson Design & Remodeling President Todd Jackson Honored as Finalist for National Fred Case Entrepreneur of the Year Award

(SAN DIEGO – May 20, 2009) Jackson Design & Remodeling, San Diego (JDR) today announced that Todd Jackson has been honored as one of four finalists for the national 2009 Fred Case Remodeling Entrepreneur of the Year Award, considered by many to be the most prestigious award in the remodeling industry.

The winners were chosen by a panel of judges representing Case Design/Remodeling, Inc., Hanley-Wood and Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies. The Fred Case Remodeling Entrepreneur of the Year Award was created to honor and recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of remodelers and the importance of creativity and innovation to the industry.

All four finalists were acknowledged at a celebratory awards dinner in Washington D.C. at the Big50 gala dinner at the Remodeling Leadership Conference. The award winner will be announced at the 2009 Remodeling Show in Las Vegas this fall.

Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. Co-Chairman Mark G. Richardson, CR, remarked that the finalists of this year’s Fred Case Remodeling Entrepreneur of the Year Award embrace the entrepreneurial spirit and determination necessary to achieve success in the remodeling arena. “Our finalists have blazed a trail of leadership and innovation throughout their careers, setting the benchmark for other remodeling professionals to follow.”

“This is an amazing honor for all of us at Jackson,” said Todd R. Jackson, honoree and president of San Diego-based Jackson Design and Remodeling. ”Fred Case is a model and pioneer in the industry and to be recognized by Mr. Case with a Jackson Design and Remodeling award nomination is an overwhelming honor.”
