Jackson Design & Remodeling Historic Spanish Revival Home Highlighted in National Kitchen & Bathroom Association Tour June 26Tour Ticket Proceeds Will Benefit Rady Children's Hospital
The owners asked JDR to design and build two bathrooms and a powder room to provide modern comfort and function while honoring the original character of their historical Spanish Revival house. Led by JDR Senior Designer Tatiana Machado-Rosas, CKD, significant space planning and reorganization were required to optimize the space and retain the home's integrity. "In the guest bathroom, exquisite hand-painted tiles punctuate a warm color palette. The room communicates a sense of history and opulence, with notes of modern spa indulgence, said Machado-Rosas. In the powder room, Ornate tiles convey a Moorish influence, complemented by elegant Rohl fixtures with the subtle sparkle of Swarovski crystal." In the pool bathroom, golden granite, dark wood, marble, onyx, natural stone mosaic, and striking hand-painted titles interplay for a balance of rich tradition and contemporary luxury. In addition to the three bathrooms, JDR also remodeled three bedrooms, laundry room and created a custom wine cellar for the home.
