President and CEO Todd R. Jackson
Todd Jackson, at 40 years old, exemplifies the spirit and practices of a successful remodeling entrepreneur. Through his determination, drive, and true love of the industry, he has established an enduring tradition of quality, innovation and service in design build remodeling.
Todd entered the remodeling business at age 20 and was a licensed General Contractor by age 23. He is experienced in all aspects of the industry and has extensive knowledge of specialty products and materials. Todd and key members of the JDR Design and Production teams are Certified Green Professionals, educated in and committed to green building practices and ideas.
Todd’s vision and drive to be the best, while also quick and efficient, drove him to work outside the “accepted” parameters in design to create a unique process that continues to enlighten the industry with its innovation. He baffles his peers with his design build process, which takes days or weeks to complete, versus the months most other remodeling companies take, while continuing to win industry awards for design.
Todd understands the importance of preserving the solid reputation he and his company have earned over the years. His philosophy of surrounding himself exclusively with great individuals is embodied in a devoted team of accomplished professionals, who produce successful projects with outstanding client satisfaction.

Jackson Design and Remodeling has served the San Diego area since 1989 with award-winning design build remodeling projects for over 1700 satisfied clients. We consistently achieve a client satisfaction rate of 97% with a 94% survey return rate to Guild Quality, an independent survey company. These high satisfaction rates earned JDR the Guild Quality’s distinguished “Guild Master with Highest Distinction” award in 2007 and 2008. JDR is the only “Guild Master with Highest Distinction” in San Diego County.
Further recognition in the industry includes the 2007 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) 2nd Place Award for 2008 Kitchen of the Year, the 2008 Chrysalis Award for Kitchen Remodeling, and multiple COTY (Contractor of the Year) awards from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). Jackson Design and Remodeling is named on Qualified Remodeler’s Top 500 list (top 500 remodelers in the country) and we have received Remodeling Magazine’s coveted Big50 Award.
