Announcing the Winners of the 2014 JDR Industry Blogger Awards

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2014 JDR Industry Blogger Awards! The fifth annual blog competition featured 46 of the best blogs in the industry across six categories. This year’s voting was neck and neck, with winners determined by just a handful of votes in some categories.

Our 2014 Winners:

Winners receive a $500 prize and a JDR Blogger Awards Winner badge for display on their blog.

“It was rather close near the end, so we weren’t sure how things would end up,” said Ashley Brown of the Remodeling blog category winner 7th House on the Left. “It’s wonderful that the contest gained so much more exposure this year. We’ll be sending a portion of the winnings to Habitat for Humanity. We’re so thrilled to be able to do that and it makes the excitement of winning even sweeter!”

The contest continued to grow in reach and popularity, with votes from more than 135 countries.

“We doubled the number of votes received last year, and the Remodeling and Architecture categories were so close it was literally neck and neck until the final votes were tallied,” said Todd Jackson, President of Jackson Design & Remodeling, “This really just points to the significance of these bloggers within the industry and serves as a testament to their hard work and dedication in providing reliable information and inspiration to homeowners across the country. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!”
