    As Client Relations Manager, Stina is a vital resource for Jackson Design and Remodeling clients. With a zeal for client care, attention to detail and reliable efficiency, Stina clearly communicates with clients what they can realistically expect as they embark upon a remodeling project and then guides them through the process from start to finish. Stina develops and implements new systems and organizes information in an accessible, appealing way to ensure that clients receive consistently excellent care. Many clients first meet Stina in person at one of the JDR Design and Remodeling Seminars she is responsible for coordinating. She also handles a variety of essential communication and organizational tasks for clients and the JDR team.

     

    Stina was born and raised in Connecticut, where her family bought a historical home, built in 1908, that became a beloved renovation project for the whole family. After studying Political Science and Sociology at the University of Connecticut, Stina moved to New York and then on to San Diego to earn her MBA at the University of San Diego. Stina has always been interested in the way things work and enjoys learning about the technical aspects of remodeling. Clients and JDR team members rely on Stina as the agile, accessible and knowledgeable core of client relationship building.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Chico and has always been drawn to a career where she could work directly with people in a team-oriented environment. Along with a keen focus on responsive client service and her enthusiasm for cultivating positive working relationships, Emily brings a high level of organizational skill to this essential position.     As Production Support to CEO Todd Jackson, Gabrielle (“Gabbi”) plays a vital role in building lasting relationships with Jackson Design and Remodeling clients. A U.S. Navy veteran with an impressive background in service and construction, Gabbi supports the CEO as he meets with clients, develops estimates, and prepares scopes of work. She organizes the CEO’s challenging schedule, handles time sensitive communication points, and coordinates multiple deadlines. Gabbi is a master organizer and an expert in time management and efficiency.

     

    Originally from Utah, Gabbi has been interested in the construction business since childhood when she was inspired by her uncle’s work as a general contractor. When she joined the U.S. Navy after high school, she was assigned to the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion where she managed major construction projects and strengthened her skills in all aspects of the industry from planning to execution. After her military service, Gabbi earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management from San Diego State University and worked as an independent project manager and contractor. When she’s not on the job, Gabbi expresses her hands-on creative side with a variety of personal building projects and explores the outdoors with her wife and their pair of beloved German Shepherds.

He prepares preliminary scopes of work, gathers and prepares estimates, verifies specifications, and coordinates schedules all while working in close partnership with JDR’s Interior Design and Production teams, partners, and clients. Strong organizational skills and clear, positive communication are essential as Sam balances a variety of time-sensitive responsibilities and competing deadlines. Sam is pursuing a degree in architecture and is grateful for the opportunity to work in a professional environment surrounded by experts in design and architecture as continues his education. With a father and grandfather who enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and encouraged creative pursuits, Sam found his niche in architecture when he took a drafting class in high school. He is inspired by the transformative possibilities of architecture and the satisfaction of helping to bring clients’ visions for their homes to life. A native of Seattle, Washington, George moved to California and supported himself as a chef while earning a design degree at Platt College in Eagle Rock, where he gained a strong foundation of business and design skills. He later discovered his love for construction while building his first dream as a restaurateur.

     

    During a prolific and successful career, George has designed and led hundreds of projects, from kitchens and baths to whole house remodels. His love for design and construction and experience in the kitchen helped George become one of the most respected kitchen designers in San Diego. George is driven to make clients happy in every way. He interprets client needs, assesses challenges, and develops innovative solutions that delight and inspire. During a lull in the tech business, Jonathan rediscovered his love of furniture making and was drawn to work where he could use his hands and explore his lifelong interest in architecture. He immersed himself in the remodeling and building industries and studied each aspect of the business thoroughly to gain deeper understanding while mastering his skills as a Residential Designer.

     

    During Jonathan’s impressive career, he has designed hundreds of homes for clients in San Diego. An exceptional communicator with a strong grasp of details, Jonathan leaves nothing to chance when he is guiding clients through the process of bringing their visions for their homes to life. Jim meets one-on-one with clients to introduce the Jackson Design and Remodeling team and the company’s comprehensive design build services, helping clients visualize how JDR works to transform their homes. He leads clients to a clear understanding of the remodeling process, helps them articulate their needs and desires for a new space, and works with clients and the design team to coordinate a project’s initial design phase.

     

    Jim is a native of Phoenix, AZ, where he owned an architectural firm for five years before moving to San Diego in 1989. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. Before joining Jackson Design and Remodeling, Jim worked for nineteen years at another large remodeling firm, where he practiced his skills as an In-house Architect and worked for ten years as General Manager. He was drawn to the innovative design principles and customer service responsiveness at JDR. Jim is a member of the San Diego Rotary Club 33 and has been published locally as an architect.

He has close to twenty years of experience in all aspects of residential design build. Frank is driven by creativity and learning and inspired by the profound way architecture shapes our physical environment. Originally from Iran, Yavar earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Applied Science & Technology in Iran before moving to the United States and earning a Masters in Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design, San Diego. Yavar is continually inspired by the process of transforming a job site into a functional, appealing home. He enjoys the challenge of understanding the needs and desires of each client and designing a home that will work within the opportunities and limits of each space. While he was earning his Masters in Architecture, Yavar was so proficient in REVIT, the innovative architectural design software he now uses at JDR, that his instructor would often ask for his help in giving instruction to fellow students. He is fascinated by how REVIT lets a user specify every detail, just like on a job site, and see a building come to life right on the screen. In his free time Yavar explores San Diego, from sight seeing and museums to new restaurants and movies.

    Tatiana Machado-Rosas is Jackson Design and Remodeling’s Design Department Manager and Senior Designer. Tatiana has excelled in her field for more than two decades and her leadership of the Jackson Design and Remodeling design team has inspired multiple award-winning projects. Originally from Mexico City, Tatiana has traveled throughout the world, gaining inspiration from many cultures before making San Diego her home 20 years ago. She graduated from the Design Institute of San Diego with a BFA in Interior Design. She earned her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) & CBD (Certified Bath Designer) accreditation from the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association.) Tatiana is an active member of the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and has served on its Board of Directors. Her work has been featured in the annual ASID Kitchen, Bath & More Tour since 2002.

     

    In 2017, Tatiana was named one of the Top 50 Design Innovators in the nation by Kitchen & Bath Design News in its inaugural “KBDN 50.” One of her designs won “2017 Kitchen of the Year” from San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles and was featured on the cover. In 2015, Tatiana won the highly competitive Kitchen + Dining category in HGTV’s “Fresh Faces of Design” competition after five weeks of public voting at hgtv.com, and over 57.8 million page views. Tatiana’s projects have been recognized by ASID (Design Excellence Awards), NKBA (NKBA Star Awards), NARI (CotY Awards), Qualified Remodeler (Master Design Awards) and the Chrysalis Awards.     Pamela graduated with honors from San Diego State’s FIDER accredited Interior Design Program, earning a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Interior Design. She is involved with the local chapter of NKBA and is an Allied member of ASID. Working in the design build industry and as an independent designer in San Diego has afforded her a vast knowledge in construction and interior design. Pamela is well-versed in all aspects of residential design, including custom home design, architectural planning, energy-efficient design, kitchen and bath design, and custom cabinetry.

     

    In her spare time, Pamela is dedicated to a full life with her family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, skiing, event planning, and traveling. She has built her impressive career during more than 12 years of experience in interior design and is responsible for multiple projects that have received regional and national recognition. Rosella is a native of Mexico where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and launched her career with an internship in an architectural design firm. In addition to her Bachelor’s degree, Rosella earned a Master of Science in Architecture from The NewSchool of Architecture & Design. Since Rosella moved to San Diego in 2005, she has worked with clients on projects ranging from bathrooms and kitchens to whole home remodels. Her projects have been honored by ASID (Design Excellence Awards), NARI (CotY Awards), Qualified Remodeler Magazine (Master Design Awards), and the Chrysalis Awards. Her work has been featured in various publications including The Union Tribune, San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles, Cottages and Bungalows, and the front cover of Qualified Remodeler.     Jennifer acts as a liaison with JDR and our subcontractors, sustaining the positive ethical relationships that make each project run smoothly. She is the resident expert in JDR’s proprietary custom designed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. She works closely with the system programmer to continually enhance the ERP and then communicates updates to JDR staff, assuring that clients are always receiving the highest quality, most up-to-date technology and service. She also procures the technical equipment needed for each member of the JDR team and handles installation, training, and support. Jennifer earned an Associates of Arts in Transfer Studies from San Diego Mesa College and an Associates of Science in Computer Graphic Design from Coleman University. Jennifer enjoys a happy family life with her husband, a United States Marine, their 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son.
