Jackson Design and Remodeling Hosts 17th Annual ‘Toys for Tots’ Holiday Toy Drive in Support of the US Marine Corps Reserve
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at JDR’s Kearny Mesa Showroom through December 16
(San Diego – December 1, 2021) – Jackson Design and Remodeling has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” holiday toy drive for a 17th consecutive year. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Jackson Design & Remodeling showroom located at 4797 Mercury Street in Kearny Mesa from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through December 16.
“We are proud to partner with the U.S. Marines on their annual holiday toy drive for a landmark 17th year,” said Todd Jackson, President and CEO of Jackson Design and Remodeling. “The Toy Drive is a meaningful way to bring joy to families that might otherwise go without the small wonders that make the holidays so special for kids. We invite our friends and neighbors to make a difference in the life of a local child this holiday season by purchasing a new, unwrapped toy that will be delivered to families in need.”
The Jackson Design and Remodeling team collects new toys and delivers them to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve where they are sorted by age and gender. At Christmas, the USMCR with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, distributes the toys to the less fortunate children of the community. The purpose of the Toys for Tots program is to send a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
