Jackson Design and Remodeling’s Polynesian-inspired Botanical Retreat Wins 2026 NARI Regional RotY Award!
Regional winners advance to national competition and winners will be announced April 23
(SAN DIEGO – February 12, 2026) – San Diego-based design build firm Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) was honored with a 2026 Remodeler of the Year Award by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for a lush botanical retreat inspired by Polynesian-style indoor/outdoor living. JDR’s RotY win is in the Residential Exterior Over $200,000 category.
Each year, NARI presents awards to members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. The Remodeler of the Year Awards, formerly Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards, are the highest form of recognition by industry leaders and peers. Hundreds of entries are submitted nationwide each year, and each project is judged with meticulous standards and criteria. In 2026, 159 Regional Winners earned a prestigious Regional RotY award, collectively representing over $138 million in remodeling projects.

Regional winners advance to the finals, competing against the other projects in their categories from seven regions across the country; JDR is in the Southwest region. Judges vote on the overall winners in each category to determine which are honored as National RotY award winners. This year, winners will be announced on April 23.
