The existing kitchen in this historic Mission Hills bungalow had a contemporary design that was out of step with the home’s character. The clients entertain frequently and wanted a more expansive space. The kitchen now feels much larger after removing a wall and a soffit. Coppered steel pendants define the island and attached table at the center of the new layout. This engaging kitchen now welcomes entertaining while respecting the home’s Spanish design origins.
