A couple with three teenagers wanted the kitchen in their Carmel Valley home to communicate their sense of style and to accommodate their love for cooking and entertaining. The design now encompasses the family room and a new bar. Dramatic coffered ceilings add definition and bring human scale to the magnificence of the surroundings.
