A talented designer and a skilled metal fabricator, Chris has the ideal combination of skills for his position as Residential Designer for Jackson Design and Remodeling with a focus on Outdoor Elements projects. He is an excellent communicator who is able to effectively guide clients toward a vision for their homes with his strong understanding of structural layouts. Chris is adept at analyzing building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs. He became interested in building architecture from an early age, particularly the relationships between buildings and their surrounding environments, and earned a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Arizona. He appreciates sustainable design and building structures that last. Chris brings his exceptional technical capabilities to the preparation of schematic design, design development, and construction document drawings. He is an avid backpacker, runner, and swimmer who spends as much time outdoors as possible and loves to travel to different cities to study their architecture.
