Jolene

Senior Interior Designer

As a Senior Interior Designer at Jackson Design and Remodeling, Jolene brings a lifelong connection to design, construction, and the meaning of home to her work with clients. Growing up in Taos, New Mexico—a community rich in art, architecture, and creative culture—she was surrounded by inspiration from an early age. With her stepfather owning a construction company, remodeling and the transformation of homes were a natural part of her life.

Jolene’s path into interior design developed organically. Along the way, she discovered a natural ability to connect with clients, listen closely, and understand not only how they want their home to look, but also how they want it to feel and function.

Specializing in custom residential design, Jolene is inspired by the individuality of every project. She especially enjoys discovering each client’s personal aesthetic and translating their ideas into a cohesive design that feels uniquely their own. With strong communication and organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the remodeling process, Jolene confidently guides clients through each stage of design—from developing the initial vision and interpreting construction plans to selecting materials and coordinating the many details that bring a home together.

Jolene values the collaborative culture at JDR, where design, architecture, production, sales, and marketing work together under one roof to create an exceptional remodeling experience and exceed each client’s expectations. A graduate of Palomar College, Jolene has called San Diego home since 2011. Outside of work, she enjoys slowing down and spending time with her French Bulldog, Kali, who helps her recharge and is always happy to remind her who is the real boss at home.
